FOOD & BEVERAGES

Most of our charter operators will cater at a 4 Star Plus level.

All charters that require catering & drinks will request an Advanced Provisioning Allowance, generally 14 days in advance of the charter, otherwise known as the balance of the charter.

All charters will differ in the way they operate and therefore offer different catering packages. If you are looking for something specific, please place your requirements on our enquiry form.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

In all charter cases, the operator will require up to 50% deposit to be paid to secure the booking and the balance required prior to the cruise.

Luxury Charter Yacht.com is an agency and acts as a representative for the charter operator to handle bookings.

Please be aware that all quoted amounts are estimates only, the charter operators reserve the right to amend or alter the terms and conditions in accordance with their company policies.

CHARTER COSTS

What you will expect to pay when you book a private charter:

• Hire fee, usually quoted on an hourly basis. This gives you sole use of the vessel for your private function, and generally includes the hire of the skipper and some crew. You would expect to pay minimum $400 per hour to hire a vessel privately here on the Gold Coast, depending on the size of the party and level of luxury.


• Catering for your function, usually quoted on a per head basis. Finger food can start at $25 per head, up to sit down a la carte silver service at $100 per head. If you are looking for something specific in the catering, you can expect that this will be quoted separately and pricing subject to your requirements.


• Beverages for your guests; some beverages like tea & coffee may be provided or even a glass of champagne, depending on the type of charter, as included in the hire. Most hires will offer a per head package for the duration of the cruise or a bar tab on consumption arrangement.


• Relocation Fee in some cases; in the instance that the vessel is to pick up and drop of in a location that the vessel is not based.


• In some cases, if you require the vessel to pick up and drop off at a location that the vessel is not based, a berthing fee may be required.


• There may be some additional charges including; decorating, additional wait staff, public holiday surcharges, BYO surcharges (if allowed by the Operator), bond (in very few cases), entertainment & some onboard activities.


• To help us assist you with your enquiry, it is suggested that it will benefit you the most if you have an idea of the budget you have to work with, even if it is just a per head total amount.

WHALE WATCHING

Whale watching season commences in June and runs through to end of October.

We have access to the finest whale charter vessel in the Gold Coast which enables the passenger to watch and listen to the whales under water.
